I M P O R T A N T A N N O U N C E M E N T
Over
the past three years, many of you have had the opportunity to interact
with Michael Bendorf, GEO's Executive Director. Last week, Michael
informed the Board of Directors that he has decided to step down as
Executive Director in order to pursue other career opportunities.
Michael has provided leadership during a period of rapid growth and has
introduced new programs and member benefits. The Board is extremely
appreciative and grateful for all of the hard work Michael has provided
GEO and wish him success in his future endeavors.
We've spoken with Michael and
he's indicated that he's proud of his time at GEO, and is confident that
the foundation he helped build will provide the basis for even greater
growth in the future. He's looking forward to watching GEO's continued
success.
The Executive Committee of the Board is now coordinating
a search for a replacement Executive Director. If you are interested in
applying for this important and challenging position, please send your
resume/CV and a one paragraph position statement as to why you would be
the right choice for the role of Executive Director. Qualified
candidates will be contacted and interviewed by representatives of the
