Submit Proposals Now! You
are invited to submit a proposal to participate as a speaker and/or
sponsor of this year's event, which should attract over 800
participants--one of the largest gatherings in this field. Visit the 2012 Conference Page on the NCEO Website, where there are links to all the information you need and the necessary application forms.
Sponsorship Opportunities Sponsor support helps keep registration fees low, allowing us to reach a wider audience. Sponsorship Opportunities
(PDF) range from $750 to $10,000. Sponsors receive many benefits,
depending on the level of support. Benefits might include an exhibit
table, complimentary registrations, etc.
A
brochure announcing the conference will be sent to more than 30,000
potential attendees early this winter. To ensure that your firm's
sponsorship is recognized in print, please submit the Sponsorship Application Form to us by October 7, 2011.
A
full exhibit table can be secured for those at the $3,000 level and
above, but space is limited, as exhibit tables are in high demand and
sell out quickly. Please sign up early to guarantee your space!
For details, please look over the background information provided on the NCEO Website conference page before filling out the sponsorship form.
Speaking Opportunities Do
you want to share your expertise with others by speaking in a breakout
session or on a panel? We have created a list of suggested topics to get
you started. We also encourage you to create your own panels and
proposals. Simply visit the NCEO Website conference page to review the Speaker Guidelines (PDF) and the Session Topic Ideas (PDF). Then submit your Speaker Proposal Form. The speaking proposal deadline is also October 7, 2011. If you have any questions, please contact either Deborah Krant, NCEO Conference Director, at 510-208-1304 or dkrant@nceo.org or Hilde Stephan, Beyster Institute Events Manager, at 858-822-6002 or hestephan@ucsd.edu.
Feel
free to copy and circulate the speaker proposal information to others
at your firm or company, especially if you are not available to speak.
Speaker proposals are considered separately from sponsorship by our
selection committee--i.e. you do not need to sponsor to be considered to
speak at the conference. Non-sponsoring speakers must pay registration
fees.
