 Industry Pioneer Carine Schneider Joins EASi as CEO


Vito Palmieri to Become Executive Chairman


 










Pleasanton, CA - April 15, 2011 -Equity Administration Solutions, Inc. (EASi), the broker-independent SaaS company with the leading stock plan management solution, today announced leadership changes that position the company for global market expansion and accelerated growth.


Carine Schneider, 25-year industry veteran, co-founder and former CEO of Global Shares and former PricewaterhouseCoopers HRS Partner, will become CEO and bring her expertise and decades of experience in equity and executive compensation to this established SaaS company. EASi's current CEO, Vito Palmieri will assume the role of Executive Chairman and focus on investor relations and long-term strategy in partnership with Carine.


"Carine's global perspective and relationships will open doors to accelerate EASi's growth," said Palmieri.  "Her energy, leadership and proven success track record is just what EASi needs at this stage," said Palmieri who has had to limit his work hours since last year for health reasons.

Schneider was most recently CEO and co-founder of Global Shares, an independent provider of stock plan administration and consulting services. Prior to creating Global Shares, she held a senior level management position with Citigroup Stock Plan Services, was a Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers and was the Leader of the Global Stock Plan Services group at Watson Wyatt Worldwide. She was also the Director of Customer Services for Corporate Management Solutions (now Solium/Transcentive) and was the Manager of Shareholder Relations at Oracle Corporation where she assisted in the initial public offering and managed all aspects of the company's various stock plans.
