It’s a great time to be a Facebook employee - at least, one with a stake in the company.
Google’s initial public offering in 2004 turned hundreds of Googlers
into instant millionaires thanks to stock options that soared in value.
The same will likely happen to Facebookers if and when Facebook decides
to go public.
But some Facebook employees aren’t waiting for an IPO to cash out, as
the social networking site’s value soars into the tens of billions of
dollars. We’ve written about several new funds that have cropped up to buy shares directly from the few early employees and angel investors that actually own stock.
