Jennifer George Joins Orrick's Compensation & Benefits Practice

San Francisco - Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe announced today that Jennifer B. George has joined the firm's San Francisco office as a partner in its Compensation and Benefits Group. She was formerly a partner at Baker & McKenzie and had been practicing in its global equity service group for approximately the past ten years.

"The addition of Jennifer to our team gives us the advantage of being a single point of contact and expertise for multinational companies and their domestic and international equity and executive compensation issues," said Jonathan Ocker, chair of Orrick's Compensation and Benefits and Global Corporate Solutions practices. "No longer will companies need to use multiple law firms for these issues."

George's practice focuses on assisting U.S.-based multinational companies to design, implement and maintain equity incentive plans and other employee benefit programs across complex regulatory environments. Specifically, her expertise includes: tax and legal compliance advice; preparation of applicable documentation for equity incentive grants and employee benefit programs; drafting foreign securities, exchange control, tax and data privacy filings; assisting with equity compensation issues related to mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions; and working with companies to develop strategies to efficiently manage global equity programs.

George is a frequent speaker at events hosted by the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals, the Global Equity Organization and the Certified Equity Professional Institute.
