Tays of Deloitte Tax, has provided the opportunity below to participate in a
Deloitte compensation survey on a confidential basis, and to receive
the survey results when available. Tara advises that the survey is
quick and easy to fill out. The deadline is this Friday, October 16
(sorry for the short notice).


 


We
have also provided a link, below, to the Deloitte presentation

Second annual survey


 


We
are pleased to extend to you an invitation to participate in our second
annual survey of employers across the nation on their compensation
strategies in this changing environment. 


 


Deloitte
first conducted this survey in September 2008, during one of the most
significant economic downturns in the last 80 years.  Since then, many
companies have greatly reduced funds available for merit increases,
annual bonuses, and long-term incentives (e.g., stock options,
restricted stock, long-term cash plans, etc,),  Further, company stock
values remain well below prior levels.


 


Many
companies are searching for ways to help their employees feel valued,
while still adhering to their existing compensation philosophies and
principles.  This survey is designed to capture ways companies are
approaching this problem.
