RIskMetrics Group 2009 Compensation Policy Updates

I recently gave a presentation at the PLI Prepartion of Annual Disclosure Documents 2009 in Chicago that focused on Proxy Advisory Services in general and the 2009 Policy Updates from RiskMetrics Group that impact compensation matters, including equity compensation.

Of particular note is the fact that RiskMetrics Group modified/updated its compensation policies after it issued its 2009 Policy Updates (this modification occurred during the first half of December when RMG decided to use the 3 month closing average stock price for purposes of its Shareholder Value Transfer analysis).  The presentation walks through the 2009 Policy Updates related to compensation as well as the changes implemented after the 2009 Policy Updates was issued.

I would love to hear what other folks are running into this year in regard to RiskMetrics' policies and modeling for new/amended equity plans and would be happy to respond to questions about RiskMetrics.
