NASPP Annual Conference Presentation Proposal Submissions Jan 26 - Feb 27, 2009
The NASPP is currently soliciting presentation proposals for the 2009
Annual Conference. While the Annual Conference date and location have
not yet been announced, we expect them to be announced shortly.
Presentation proposals will be accepted through February 27, 2009.
About the NASPP Annual Conference
The NASPP Annual Conference is the premier event for stock plan
professionals, providing unparalleled opportunities for education and
networking. The rapidly shifting regulatory landscape we continue to
experience will make the 2009 Annual Conference one of the most
important to date. Close to 2,000 professionals attended our 2008
Annual Conference; we expect even more in 2009.
Submitting a Presentation Proposal
Presentation proposals must be submitted through the NASPP’s Proposal
Submission Website. Both NASPP members and non-members may submit
proposals to present at the Annual Conference, although proposals from
NASPP members receive preference. A maximum of three proposals can be
submitted by any one company or firm.
Please refer to our Top Ten Tips for Creating a Successful Proposal for
helpful information on how to increase the chance of your proposal
being accepted. We prefer panel presentations that focus on practical
guidance and presentations that include company case studies are
strongly encouraged. Case study submissions should include one
representative from the studied company. We may combine similar
proposals into a single panel.
All proposals must be submitted online via the NASPP’s Proposal
Submission Website by February 27, 2009. We begin reviewing the
proposals as soon as the submission period closes so there can be no
extensions to this deadline, no matter how dire the circumstances.
Please review More Information on Submitting a Presentation Proposal
for further details. Questions regarding proposal submissions can be
sent to RFP@naspp.com.
Notification of Results
We expect to notify submitters of the acceptance status of their proposals in April 2009.
