NFL gets hit by poor 409A planning

The NFL just sent urgent notices to registered player agents informing them that no planning or corrections were made to NFL Player contracts regarding the upcoming implementation of 409A. Much of the compensation paid to NFL players is in the form of deferred bonuses or long-term deferred guaranteed pay.
Just thought ECE members would like to know that you are not the only ones dealing with the impacty of 409A!
