Role: Manager, equity compensation, PartnerRe
What is your job?
To manage the company's equity programmes and ensure compliance with
local legislation; executive and director compensation; SEC filings;
Proxy input; work with external providers.
What is your favourite part of the job?
Working in a global organisation, I am able to interact with colleagues
all over the world. This job constantly produces new challenges which I
enjoy.
What is the least favourite part of the job? Surveys, as they are time-consuming.
What is your most interesting experience at work?
Travelling to the Paris, Zurich and US offices to provide training on
the company's equity programmes to the HR groups. Equity is not an easy
topic to grasp and sharing the knowledge makes my job easier as they
now understand the process.
What would you be doing otherwise? Photography or charity work.
