Denmark Grants

I am working with a client who has participants in Denmark where the laws indicate that if you term for any reason other than casue or breach of contract you maintain your rights. What happens if you are a mobile employee and move to the US and term. Do you maintain your rights since the grant was issued in Denmark? What if you were issued in the US and subsequently move to Denmark and term? What rules apply there.
