Building on the success of the 2013 Deloitte Global Share Plan Survey, in which 130 global companies participated,
I am pleased to announce the launch of the 2014 survey.
As before, the survey focusses on the design of global share plans and how they are operated in practice.
The
majority of the questions are identical to last year to allow us to do
year-on-year comparisons. We are
also covering a few new topics. For example, clawback and maluses are
more and more on the agenda and we hope to gather data as to how common
they are and how they are operated in practice.
Participation
The
survey is focused on global share plans. Therefore if you operate share
plans in more than one country,
we invite you to complete the survey. Please ensure the survey is
completed by the individual within the company who is responsible for
share plans
globally. This survey should only be completed once per company.
If you are a share plan or reward manager in a subsidiary and want your
company to participate, you should ask the person responsible at group
level to submit a response.
Participants will receive a free electronic copy of the report with a detailed analysis of the results this
summer.

The survey will remain open until
21 February 2014.
If it is the first time you are participating, we estimate that it will
take about 60-90 minutes of your time to complete, depending upon the
number of plans your company operates. If you want assistance completing
it please let us
know. Note that you will be able to save data and come back to it at
another time should you wish. Confidentiality of your information will
be guaranteed throughout. Only aggregated data across all participants
will be reported on and no individual responses
will be published.
