Well, Proxy filings are progressing quickly and I am sure many of you have spent the past weeks working more hours than you would ever care to remember. So, beside a little sleep and a nice spring break, what are you looking to see as a result of your efforts?
In the past I have reluctant to post articles related to proxy information, They tend to be technical in nature and have only limited information regarding equity compensation. With that being said, I have noticed this year that as the CD&A becomes more functional, the information reported by the media (and press releases) has become somewhat more useful. In these interesting times there are also many more unique filings and discussions on strategy.
I am wondering if there should be a discussion forum on the ECE site dedicated to proxy issues and articles. Would you find this useful as a long-term forum, or is it something that is only useful during times of major change. Do you already have a resource for this information? (Lord knows you probably get enough emails from the ECE site already.)
We can even set up the Proxy forum as a sub-group of the main ECE site. This would allow you to sign up for it separately (using all of your current information already with the ECE), and would allow you to opt out of emails regarding Proxy stuff, while still allowing you to receive other emails.
Let me know your thoughts on Proxy season and beyond.
